This response takes account of the interests of the Trust and namely a site identified as Orchard View which is situated at Ham Green, Pill. Our primary concern is ensuring that the policy framework in place for Orchard View retains the options to redevelop the site for a range of uses including those within Use Classes C2, C2A, C3, B1, B2 and B8. The inclusion of Residential uses (C3) may increase the viability of a scheme to deliver employment/health facilities.

BIA expansion plans conflict with the sustainability aims in the Core Strategy which, as an Association, we highly commend. Indeed, any further growth at the airport would cancel out most of the potential gains from implementing the policies outlined in Chapter 3: Spatial Policies. The PCAA has argued these points in our response to the Draft RSS.

Hands Off Long Ashton supports the removal of the SW urban extension from the Core Strategy and protecting the green belt. We object to the SBL, expansion of the Long Ashton Park and Ride and a link between the A370 and the M5
