Yatton - strongly object to the proposed developments due to lack of infrastructure - Yatton is a village which does not have the appropriate amenities/infrastructure to support the proposed developments - there has been a lack of impact analysis on the village with the developments - houses are being built on a profit margin basis rather than on a need basis.

Yatton has highway issues, flooding problems and schools and doctors are at full capacity, why then does the SAP consider that it should receive more housing than the rest of the service villages. It makes no sense.

a) The total number of houses allocated to the 5 Service Villages is 1,247. If the sites are approved for Yatton, the total would be 696 houses which would seem to be a very unfair distribution. b) We are pleased to note that Claverham, as an infill village, will not have any proposed sites for development. c) We would also wish to see waste land and brownfield sites used rather than destroying the green fields. The cumulative impact of all the developments in the north end of a Yatton is unsustainable and goes against the objective that major developments are delivered in tandem with necessary improvements in infrastructure. Yatton is receiving over half the allocation of all service villages and thus effectively making it a town but with none of the services. There is very little provided for a Yatton in schedules 4 and 5 compared to other settlements especially given the size of its allocation.
