The north end developments in Yatton have already been given planning permission so I question whether this can be regarded as a consultation. I am concerned that Yatton is contributing over half the allocation for the service villages in North Somerset and this is unsustainable with existing infrastructure. This goes against the objective that major developments are delivered in tandem with necessary improvements in physical and social infrastructure. The cumulative impact of all the developments in north end will mean that there is not sufficient infrastructure such as health provision, leisure, local shops and road improvements. A full environmental impact assessment is required as Yatton will effectively become a town with none of the infrastructure. There is very little provided in schedules 4 and 5 for Yatton compared to other settlers especially given that it is taking a large part of the north somerset allocation!
