My final points are below, in page order: Cover Page Capitalise 'U' in 'Use' and change 'CLASS A' to read 'Class A' Contents Page The text alignment is ever so slightly out in '3.5 Fascia Design' The words Fascia Design need to move left slightly to align with the rest of the text. In '6 Change of use – use class A properties to residential use' can we capitalise the first letters in 'Use Class A' so it's consistent with the rest of the document (and legislation). Hi Rachel and Everyone I have been through most of the documents - a few thoughts: Shop Front Guide In my view this is all very good in terms of the aims. However it may be a little a aspirational with enforcement needed to ensure the guidelines are met by retailers being the test. The only issue I take with the entire document is at p26: We support shops in peripheral areas being converted to residential rather than remaining empty. What exactly is peripheral - it references the 'Policies M

Hi Cara, Looking at The Knowledge and eConsult website I see you have used an image of a shopfront in Clevedon which is inaccessible. One of the issues we discussed in detail was to try to overcome the barrier of conservation and heritage design being seen to freeze out any consideration of accessibility because they were considered incompatible. Could this be removed please and a more appropriate image put up in its place as soon as possible? Regards, Anthony Rylands Access Officer for Dis

Dear Cara, "The following comments on the North Somerset Draft Shopfront Design Guide are submitted on behalf of Banwell Parish Council. The guide is a welcome addition to NSC's suite of Supplementary Planning Documents and provides comprehensive guidance that, if followed, should result in the sympathetic and appropriate alteration of existing shopfronts or the installation of new ones to the benefit of the local environment and historic settings. Their detailed comments are as follows: 1 Th

Dear Cara, Nailsea Town Council's Planning Committee discussed the Draft Shopfront Design Guide at last night's meeting. The committee asked that the content is noted. I have spotted a couple of typo's within the document. I have listed them here: Page .7 1.2 the top of the 2nd paragraph starts "mentation" I think it should read "Implementation". Page .17 3.5 first paragraph 2nd line the use of the word "glossy" twice Page 20 3.8 references the "Local Planning Authority" should that not
