I  strongly support CS32 and the protection it provides to Service Villages from speculative development both within and without the settlement boundaries.  Any development should be in accordance with local housing needs  (the needs of the village and its environs rather than national or regional housing needs) in respect of affordability and housing mix, be plan led and supported by the community.

I strongly support CS19 re strategic gaps.  These are vital to preserve distinctive settlements and prevent the urbanisation of rural North Somerset.
