The Council proposes no changes to the policy wording or to the text to CS32 and CS33. This presumably means that local authority see no particular issues with increasing the housing levels by 200 % in each circumstance. This absence of spatial planning, belies the planning crisis that currently inflicts these areas of the district.

Due to the failure of the local authority to determine a sound housing figure in their Core Strategy, together with the backlog of housing delivery and the paucity in 5 Year Supply, these areas are currently unable to resist planning applications for significant housing schemes.  The local authority is therefore besieged by such applications with an absence of up to date policy.

Therefore whilst there is no objection to these two policies as the wording remains unchanged, if the remitted policies result in significant increases in these areas, as per Policy CS 14 then this objection is sustained based upon an omission of new policy wording.
