The proposed Mendip Spring/Churchill development is adjacent to the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

      • This area is more environmentally, ecologically and landscape-sensitive than the Green Belt immediately south of Bristol. 
      • The environmental/ecological damage would be permanent -  impossible to mitigate against.
