Sustainability lies at the heart of our Neighbourhood Plan and we have been working with the Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE) to look at local contributions to tackling climate change and responding to the need for a low carbon approach. We agree that planning policies will need to demonstrate how they contribute to meeting low carbon targets and demonstrate a commitment to reducing emissions, including minimising energy demand through good design, utilising renewable and low carbon forms of energy generation.
